Root can I?

Can I install a 2.1 Rooted ROM on top of my 2.2 ROM I got from My droid life without flashing the sbf? App2SD doesnt work because it said partition not found so I just want to go back to 2.1 Rooted and wait for the official update.

Terrible thread title. If you're going to install the 2.1 ROM you'll have to wipe data/cache.

App2SD is built-in the 2.2 ROM. You don't need to do anything special. You might think App2SD isn't working because the app you are trying to move to SD does not have that feature enabled. There aren't that many apps that Devs have enabled App2SD, however for now you can you use Titanium backup to move certain apps to SD. It works fine for me.
