Root Can ics be ported from spectrum

the word on the web is that an LG employee on LG support forums said that the update for the spectrum is coming vary soon. they are waiting for Verizon to give the go. could it be possible to port ics to the connect. im thinking it could make the developers life a lot easier. im not going to get my hopes up but lets see

very possible, at least be able to cherry pick it n mostly be able to use its kernel src (tho its not a must have).

major differences between the Connect n Spectrum is the display, the Spec's makes the Connects look like poop!!!
