Help Can not connect to car stereo USB since upgrade

I posted this question in the Huawei Ascend 2.1 - 2.2 Firmware Upgrade (Info updated as received!) thread but have not gotten a single response, so I'm making my own thread...

Have not seen this problem posted yet (metro 2.2.2), so maybe it is just my ascend... I did the 2.2.2 update from metro, and all went smooth as a babies butt, except for one thing, well maybe 2...

First, I can no longer hook my phone to my car stereo via the USB and listen to the music on my SD Card, and my computer will no longer "auto load" when I hook my phone to it using USB... I have to connect by using the phones buttons...

anyone having these issues? I'm more concerned about the car stereo usb issue, and not the computer issue since I can connect to the computer, just not as quick...

this is a known issue and metro is aware of it, plenty of post on there facebook wall about it, and other peoples on there never got a response from metro either, but like anything for the 2.2 from metro there are sacrifice that come along with it.
 
was this issue ever fixed in CM7 ? I had CM7 installed before and could not connect using it either...

no it will not work with cm6/7 as everything was change with the mounting.:(
 
i even flashed back to 2.1 & still had this issue. somehow upgrading, the mounting part (USB) got taking out? no biggie for me for i'm using a card reader, takes a little time but still functional. these are the problems i'm have right now; 1. USB mounting
2. customizing ringtone to each contacts.
3. alarm wont go off unless screen stays on.
weird, temporily took care of #1, downloaded a cool funny ringtone for default, that took care #2. & finally went to WalMart brought an alarm clock, took care #3. lol!!!

hahaha, omg i have to go to walmart right now, man i hate that...:D
 
funny thing happen to me, i have a mp3 player & always plugged it on my car stereo, well anyways i went home & put some mixes i did on my mp3 & when i put it on my car audio, it couldn't read it. i got mad for days i couldn't figure out why (still don't). so i ended up formatting my mp3 & it worked. could this problem excist on the phone? i know it isnt cm7 that caused it, could it be some how link to my pc? just like my mp3 it always worked on my radio until i plugged it on my pc. is there a way when formatting my SD card to save files in it so i can re-install them back?


i formatted my sd card, & still doesnt work...
