Help Can not connect to HTC sync

I recently got the new update for my Desire HD but now i can't connect to HTC sync? It worked before the update. I have unistalled it and downloaded the newest version of HTC sync from the HTC's website but still no luck. I connect the phone to my pc but my phone can not find the program? Any help would be much appreciated.

 
cheers Presidente, thats exactly my problem, i'll try that soft ware. I have been in contact with HTC and they have said that is a known problem that after the update your phone can no longer connect to HTC sync.
