Root Can Not Get Any Cm Mod To Work At All

I did every step, twice now. All the files were there, sd card burnt fine. I tried a cm 7 nightly and it just kept loading back to the main rom screen. I tried the cm 10 ightly, same thing. When i installed the cm10 it just freezes when i do the first reboot without the sd card. Just stays frozen on the cyanoboot screen. My nook system does not come on at all either, even with the sd card out. What can i do? Should i just try to factory reset it all? Also my 32 gb card says it is a 8gb card. This went so horribly bad! Please anyone help! lol. Thanks.

I am wondering if i should just reset the whole thing, if possible, and try to sideload apps? Cause i tried this before on another nook and failed horribly then too. Is this so hard for everyone else?

I assume you're trying to replace your stock rom with CM7/10? (This isn't a rom installed on the sdcard, allowing you to dual boot with the stock B&N rom intact.)

What guide are you using?

Your 32 gb card reports 8 gb because you used your good card to install CM7, instead of using a separate (cheap 1 or 2 gb card), dedicated to that purpose. When you remove the partition, you'll have all 32 gb left.

The first boot of CM can easily take 5 minutes. If you have the wrong version of gApps or an incompatible or corrupt download, it can do what you describe.

Sorry, but you're using a bunch of stuff that I have no idea what it does. You need to use my guide to get my help.

You need a bootable sdcard. If you see 4 files in it when plugged into your computer, it works.

You need a rom, and Google apps.... That's it.

You boot off the card, format cache, clear Dalvik cache, format data, flash the rom, flash gApps... done.

No need to return to stock either. Just try again and power it off if it loops more than 5 minutes. (You don't want a dead battery.)

No need to repartition data. Too many files, more that can go wrong.
