Root Can Not Receive SMS

Ok so here is my problem:
When I am on any AOSP rom I can not recieve SMS, however if i switch to a sense based rom it works again, I have tried reflashing the radio (did not help), and updating profile from a sense based rom (also did not help). Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? It appears that other people are experiencing it as well.

Helllo you have to run a RUU ROM in order to get back SMS, then you can install the AOSP ROM.

Same issue here. One method worked for me, once or twice. When formatting your phone before flashing the AOSP rom, instead of choosing to format all partitions except SD card, choose instead "factory data reset", and also wipe cache and dalvik, then flash the rom. As I said before, that worked for me once or twice. You might want to also try updating your profile and PRL from a stock-based rom before flashing an AOSP.
