Root Can not update apps stored in the SD...

For about a week and a half now I have not been able to update my apps on the phone. It downloads the app, but when it goes to install, it says that the installation was unsuccessful. This only happens with apps stored in the SD card. If I move the app to phone storage and update, it works. It is very annoying. Has anyone encounter this? My phone is rooted for months without issues, if it helps...

Thanks,

Thanks,
Simple solution: Mount your phone (or mount the SD card to a reader), then delete the file smdl2tmp1.asec in the /sdcard/.android_secure/ directory (feel free to back it up just in case, but there should be no problems here).

That should solve your problem.

There is no file in that directory. I used Astro to check the file. I have to check connecting the card to the computer.

I have the same issue, and have had it since I rooted (I think). At the same time, I noticed that Titanium Backup does not seem to like to move files to SD reliably. I use SuperBox, which does seem to do this. TB does move from SD to internal, which I use when I update apps.
