Help Can only access GooglePlay/Internet through data, not wifi.

Hi, can anyone tell me whats wrong if I cannot use my WIFI to connect to Google Play/Internet? It will only work through DATA/3G.
Im connected to my router (Linksys E4200 in G only mode), have IP address, can access my router but not internet/play. The problems started when I was on CM 7.03 but installed MildWild to try to solve the problem. Still same problem. Help appreciated!
UPDATE: Installed FXR Wifi fix and rescure;that made me able to open GPlay and search apps, but when I try to download any apps the dl bar went on and on, and on....
And now im back at the start, GPlay only says "No connection".
Im not far from buying new phone as WIFI is a MUST HAVE.

I'm having the same problem with my HTC Desire It just started for me a few days ago - I can do updates through data but not through wifi on google play store. Although in my case, I can still access internet through wifi.

I'm rooted but on an older rom LeeDroid 2.4
My wife has an HTC Desire HD and doesn't have the problem using the wifi in our home.
