Root can someone make this shutdown anim.?

hey can someone make this into a flashable zip... i think its a cool shutdown animation but when i put the images into the shutdown folder they dont play... why? shutdown images (in a .rar)

In order to have a custom shutdown animation, you have to have a custom ROM....try this...http://androidforums.com/triumph-al...ickerguy-edition-kernel-mine.html#post3153133 not everything works yet, but i can verify that you can have a custom boot and shutdown animation...

so only way is through a custom rom??? shucks! i was able to change splash screen, bootanimation, power on and off sounds just being rooted. *i followed the youtube tuts that were posted here in the forum some time ago.

Kind of. On stock it will only go through the first 12 .png files. So it has to be short. There may be some work around for this, but I haven't seen it anywhere.

I haven't messed with it yet on any ROM's so I don't know about that yet.
