Can someone please explain my Orange bill?!

Hey Guys

Bought my HTC hero off buymobilephones.net; my plan is dolphin 15 (100 mins unlimted texts) and 500mb unlimited internet coming to a total of
 
Looks like its been pro-rated.

So you've been charge for a few days before, and then for the remaining time. It might be to fit in with their billing dates or something like that.

I would phone Orange (150) and find out.
 
You also have the two month off peak free trial.
So unless your using it outside their times you should be paying nothing.

What do you mean "using outside their times", i thought 500mb unlimted internet allows me to download 500mb of data anywhere?

I don't think that's what he means. If you look at the two billing periods the first is not a full month, the second is. So it looks like you've started your contract mid cycle and have only paid a portion of the first billing cycle... prorated accordingly for the time you've used.

On the second billing period, 12.77+4.26+VAT=20 quid. So you've not been charged for going over, just for having it.
 
Just look at the dates and you will see that this bill is for more than one month. It covers the period from 29 December to 16 February inclusive. And they have charged you 34p + VAT for some off plan calls - maybe to 0800 number? By my calculation that comes to just over
