I'd say most likely, have you compared the two? Def looks like the desire z has a different UI, especially sense.

the desire z and the G2 are the same hardware. The only thing that is different is the UI. That is why they can share ROMs once rooted. I think sense has DLNA, I ran a sense rom for a couple weeks and could never figure it out.

Ah HTC Sense...have it on my MT3G slide. cool little ui, but I don't really miss it or notice it's gone
