Can the Galaxy Note 3 make Wifi calls?

Yeah so my question is can I make phone calls using only Wifi and not the cell service? Without using an app either, I dont want to have to get some new ''free" number.

by "on their network" you mean you need both a cell and wifi signal?

Indeed. Turning my Wifi calling to on brings up a T mobile error message as I am not using their SIM or plan.

No problem making and receiving WiFi calls on my t-mobile version. I've only used my home network so far.

No help to you being in the US but here in the UK O2 have an app that allows texting and calls over wifi. I use my ipod touch and Note 10.1 for both.
