OK, so help me understand ...
I have a Sprint Galaxy Tab in the US, it deosn't make phone calls, and so far as I can tell does not send SMS.
So, when I download an app, and the permissions say "can read the phone state, and read the phone number", or
"can read SMS messages, can send SMS"
Then, it seems to me that for this model of Galaxy here in the US, an app like this can't really do those things? Apparently some of these permissions can be considered as somewhat hazardous to the user!
