Can the Motion be unlocked?

I was thinking about switching to TMobile's $30 100 minute/unlimited data + text
plan, the monthly $55 takes a toll on my part-time minimum wage and only time people call me is when they need something. -_-

So has anyone unlocked their LG Motion yet?
or is it just not possible?

We have deodexed roms for theming,rooted,v6 supercharger, (a bout to have a2sd++ support), zip aligned, pimp my ROM tweaks we will have either dsp manager or beats installed and a few other goodies, cwm recovery, also there is cm10 and aopk available as well but its a work in progress still needs 4g and mms but boot loader is still not unlocked if that's your question

t-mobile is gsm, the motion is cdma, no workie on tmo.

why not just get metro's 40$ plan? unlimited everything, just first 500mb are 4g. After that they downgrade.

I think data is the reason he doesn't want to downgrade, on the TMobile plan he's talking bout he gets 5GB before he's throttled

No Lg motion uses uicc card not sim but its rumored by june that metro and tmobile should be done merging metro will then be switched over to hspa+

If you want to unlock the ICC this is what Gman9831 told me to do, it worked i can use the phone without the micro sim and or insert other one but then i found a dead end, cause my firt intention was to edith the PPP configuration in order to put my carrier setthing but it did not worked, cause when the phone reboots it always recalls the Metro setthings.

Yes but that doesnt mean they wont keep HSPA+. The network will be EDGE(GSM)HSPA/LTE instead of CDMA/EvDO/LTE

MetroPCS customers should expect to see the biggest changes for the simple reason that their networks and devices they use will simply cease to function in a 2-3 year period. By the end of 2015, T-Metro plans to remove all traces of Metro

Yes but they'll probably have heavy discounts to encourage upgrades.

I wonder if that la will be one of the first markets
