Can the phone be on AC power when doing the update?

I just got my update notice, but don't have 40% batter power. Can I run the update with the phone plugged in? Otherwise, I'll just charge and wait until morning.

Mine just finished updating while on the charger, no problem. BTW I use it while it's on the charger all the time. As a matter of fact, we have wireless network in our house and I get blazing fast online service when I connect the Eris to it. You, know, when you get really lazy and don't want to get out of bed to go online. I leave it tethered to the charger.
