Can the Razr M be used on Verizon Prepaid

I have a brand new in box Razr M, never used. Can I use this phone on Verizon's prepaid service?

It's been a while since I've done this, but I believe it's after 6 months from activation before the device can be transferred to prepaid (depending it's a contract phone)
