can the status bar be a lil bigger

just wanted to know if there are any settings that make the satus bar a tad bigger ,
im an old git , so would be nice if it was tad larger , i did try larger text in setting , but had no impact in status bar .
damn i just wana be a spotty teenager again

What is it that you want to be more visible? (Clock, battery..)
