Help Can the xoom play 1080p natively?

They keep saying the xoom will support 1080p, but lately iv been seeing that with the qualifier "through hdmi". So can someone WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS, and is not speculating, lay it down. can the device play 1080p content ON ITS OWN SCREEN, or only through hdmi out.
 
oh yeah, i forgot to say HIGH PROFILE 1080p... i just saw that thread after i started this, but they dont mention if its high profile 1080p or low profile. guess ill check w dvdcat
 
I just got my Motorola Xoom tablet it plays 1080p quality at 30fps wow sweet no lag what so ever.

Did anyone else tried this out.....
