Has anyone figured out to root an LG Vortex running Android v2.2.1? I had to revert back to 2.2 since the exploit no longer works.
I've tried using various root tools and none of them worked (z4root, etc)which prevented me from getting the custom recovery menu installed.
I've seen posts of other different phones running 2.2 and up and they have been able to root their phones, but apparently, for the LG Vortex, they must have completely locked it down to where there is no way to root it.
I do know that there is a 2.2.1 image out there, but is there a way to root a 2.2.1 phone without having to replace the image?
