i found this for an lg phone [DEV HELP][PORT] SENSE 2.1 Port Of HTC Hero: G2 Touch--LG P500 - xda-developers
i know its not really similar to ours... but it seems possible.. so i would love to help anyone port this if they know how lol i know a little of porting but im no pro so i will most definitly need help!! but if anyone wants to accept the challenge i am willing to help :D

sorry for the thread, just wanted everyone to see so i can get as many responses about the subject..
 
i am going to get as much done as i can but i know i will need a kernel, i ported sense 2.2 before using a cm kernel so i would need something of that nature for this to work... it gb based so it needs to be cm7, if anyone is good with kernels?

hmmm, yeah ill send em a pm :D not even sure if it will work, but dammit i want sense now after rooting my brothers inspire 4g lol bastards phone can do more than mine (besides hdmi that i dont use and front facing camera i also dont use..)

im not really sure where to go with it anymore lol, i made a cust mashup of arctic and ick mod with launcher pro, its pretty cool lol flashed homeless kernel on top of it and my phones lasted all day while still looking awesome haha wanna give it a try?

yeah I'm actually using ur v1.4 with the homeless kernal
 
just saying you might be able to modify the desire hd's rom cause it has the exact same spec as our phone other then the gsm radio

yep yep, i thoung about pulling some jpg from some of the .apk files from market and build a sample theme. lol
 
I didnt necessarily mean right now. I was saying if ot can be done hes the one that could get it done. Sorry for the confusion. And personally i world rather see cm9 on this phone first then sense...

lol yeah i wouldn't ask him, not yet he's super busy making things we actually need, and yes i would much rather see cm9 before sense myself lol but there honestly NOTHING i can do to help him out.. im a themer with minimum porting experience.. but i have done it lol ported sense rom to my old g1 but it was wayyy easier because it was htc brand :D but this is a challenge!! haha if we do it than we do it, awesome!! but if not then hey atleast we didn't go without a fight..
