Help Can we play audio during a phone call?

Is it possible to play audio over an active phone call, so the other end can hear it? So say I am on the phone with a friend and I want them to listen to a song, is it possible? or is there an app for that?

I don't know about apps that can do this, but I don't think stock Evo can. You can talk and surf, but the sound processor cannot handle two sources. It places priority on call sound at all times, which is why when you answer a call whether on data (3G or 4G) or listening to music the other signal gets interrupted/paused.

Rigmaster that isn't entirely true...the phone itself is actually capable of it...however most apps are coded against it.

There are two speakers...one in the earpiece and the other on the back....one would just have to find a music app that has the option or availability to play music through it while on a call.

wait a minute i could talk and surf the net with my evo?

We have developed an app for speech impaired people using TTS. It would be important that they could make phone calls using the app. Do you know any programming options either in C, C++ or Java?
