Help Can you customize lockscreen?

On the slider lockscreen, does anyone know if there is a way to customize the selections. For example, can you change sliding to the left from the camera to another app or even better, can you add an app to the slider. I know it's a long shot, but it would be a welcome addition.

I don't think so, but you can add like a name underneath the time and date, but I think you would need to use an a different lockscreen in the app in the marketplace.

Widgetlocker has a great ICS lock screen replacement that allows you to customize 4 shortcuts around that circle.

Mikepic I downloaded Widgetlocker and all I can say is THANK YOU! Best $3 I've ever spent in the app store. Now my unlock screen has instant access to the camera, the dialer, facebook, handcent as well as volume controls, time and date, battery percentage and a 5 day forecast. LOVE IT.

I've been using widget locker for quite some time and love it but I think I'm not gonna use it with nexus. I'm concerned with the app consuming battery. Could you do us a favor and update us on any out of the norm battery drain. Btw the dev is great and I may ask him if he has any info on this unless he reads this and chimes in here.

I used to use Widget Locker but now I just turn the lockscreen off. It really serves no purpose for me. I keep the screen off when not in use anyway. Turn it on, and there's my homescreen.
