Can you designate another power button?

Hello, I tried searching for this but couldnt find a thread that discussed it. My power button appears as though its been jammed. I dropped my phone on its corner where the power button is but I dont think thats what the problem is. Anyhow, recently my power button responds but I have to really press it hard and it as though the button is jammed cause it doesnt depress as far.

My question is that is there a way to designate the camera button to become the power button? I know on some phones you can make different buttons do different things and I was curious if this was possible on the Droid. Thank you to anyone who responds.

I do not know for sure, but I've read of a bunch of apps that let you remap keys. Have you tried any of those?

Not possible (perhaps if you root the phone and hack the Linux bindings). I believe the button is mapped directly to the motherboard. :/

No I didnt know those existed! Thanks, I'll try those. Any that you may know of?

You can also slide the keyboard to wake the phone too.
