Nope, txt msgs use the regular old crappy cell network. If you don't get a cell signal, you can't get txt msgs.

On the flip side, you can turn off your mobile (3G) and wifi and still get txt msgs, which is pretty cool.

Oh, and how are you receiving txt massages? Do you put your phone on vibrate?

If you have a google voice account, you can send texts that way.

Buy a cell signal booster. They actually work really well. If you have NO signal AT ALL, they won't work. They have to have an actual signal to boost.

I don't think i need txt msgs $119 worth. I do get some signal for a few moments, is sits a 0, or -100dBm, -99dBm, but I at -93dBms.
