Help Can you paste into the WiFi password text box?

I want to copy my wireless network password from my password program on my PC to my phone WiFi password text box. Can you paste into this box?

I made a trial attempt by copying text from a contact address but once I got the WiFi password box open I couldn't figure out how to paste into it.

You should be able to long press in the box and it should pop up with an option to paste.
