Can You Reach The Top Button?

I absolutely love the Android OS and even Sense but the dimensions on this phone is killing me. With the iphone I can have the phone in the middle of my palm and be able to reach the power button. Not so with EVO as I have to slide my hand to the side to reach the power button and slide it again to reach the swipe to unlock. Kinda sucks as I wanted to really keep this phone even with the screen coming up issue everyone is having.

According to my golf grip measurements I have standard man's hands, so is people reaching the button and swiping without having to slide there hands?

O well hopefully Sprint comes out with android on a little smaller platform but not HERO small, maybe galaxy, so enjoy your devices.

Easy solution that has been posted several times. DL No Lock. Allows you to turn on phone with volume key and no swipe to unlock.

No sh1t it's big, it's meant to be large so people can get a better media experience.

HTC marketing didn't think too many small hand men would be complaining I guess... You should've had enough shame to stop yourself from posting this.

Golfers actually have smaller hands than an average man. Research has shown that "large" male golfer hands are equivalent to "small" female hands.

You are gonna return the phone because you simply don't want to move your hand up to turn on/off the screen? Wow have we become that lazy???? The button is not on the other side of the room!

we are females and turn ours off just fine :D I bet my hands are smaller and I can reach the power button just fine.. I don't mind using 2 hands when I have to ;)

I can reach the top button if I stand on a ladder. Hey kids, I shrunk Grampy. Geez, after 43 years what do you expect?

You know what I hate most about the biggest phone on the market? The size, who knew the biggest phone on the market would be big?

Waited tables for about 10 years without trays, had to build up the dexterity in my hands, no problem for me, though I don't expect it should be that hard, perhaps you need to get a different grip on the phone.

I would say my hands are more "wide" than "long" and I can hit the power button, unlock, and then do the "draw a pattern" thing with no problem. I usually don't, since I use two hands to do most of the stuff I do on the phone anyway.

So you started a post about reaching the power button my god what have the world come to.this remind me of the miller light commercials go take your skirt off..

I wear a size medium golf glove (to keep in-line with the OP's reference) and have no problem hitting the power button and swiping. I think it's more of a dexterity thing. After working with it for a while your hands should adjust.
