Is there any way to stop the factory installed applications (like the default messaging and corporate calendar) from running? I was using advanced task killer, but read that it was pretty much worthless for the droid and only slowed it down. Even when I was using it, the default apps would automatically re-start back up after I killed them. I really wasn't looking into rooting the phone and removing the apps because I don't want to screw up any of the future phone updates. Anyone have any tips?
