I and many others for that matter, have regular dealings with the website of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale and notably their parachuting commission at www.fai.org/parachuting. The website holds an immense amount of information that many of use on a daily basis, but it seems we can only access the site via a pc. The FAI's webmaster insists it's just a tweak that's required on the individual's handset. I believe that's his get out of jail card.

I've used umpteen different browsers too and none of them work. Can anyone throw any light as to what is preventing this site from displaying as it would on a pc - as I'm losing the will to live! I've attached a screenshot of what I get when I try the website.

Well, that won't be a problem considering you're jumping out of planes without being able to access the information you need. :p

Kidding. I saw the same thing as you; however, by forcing my browser to request the desktop site it seems to load the page just fine.

Using Chrome browser, hit the 3 dot menu and check the box to request desktop site.

Oh Brian - you're a star! Okay, in truth I feel like a right idiot now as I didn't know that was an option. Before you tell me to wash my mouth out with soap and water - I know friends have the same non-display issue with their iPhones - hmmm, I wonder whether they have a similar 3 dot menu . . . . .

Many thanks!
Blue skies!

Hey, glad it's working out! I can't tell you what would be different on the iPhone's web browser as I'm not familiar enough with it. Perhaps it does that step automatically if it needs to??

Happy descent,
Brian
