Help Can

Did you do a factory reset before downgrading? If you just try downgrading without clearing data, then your system files get mixed up between GB and ICS, so you have all sorts of issues. I'm surprised it started at all! Also, if you use Titanium Backup, there's other problems with restoring, but you're probably not since it's not the root section.

I'm very happy to know it is possible to go back to gingerbread 2.3.6 after upgrading to ICS 4.0.3

I didn' t like ics for seversl reasons and I want so much to go back to 2.3.6

Can you two gentlemen give me a hand with a step by step of how to do it?
I'm new at this.

You need to download your gingerbread firmware version. But first you need

to know what your firmware version before you upgraded to ics. Then go here

to download your firmware gingerbread version samfirmware.com.

Do a factory reset of your ICS running phone.

Go to download mode.

Open odin program. (Download Odin on the net or just google it.) Click PDA
and put the (.tar/.md5 file) in it. Then click START.
