I live by Davis Monthan Airforce Base, and in one of the plane yards someone carved "Hi Mom" in huge letters. It is only visible from the sky, and you can see it on Google Earth.

The Government has been doing this for years. They even expanded it to Satellites years ago. You just have to look up every Now and then and use your middle finger to tell them they are number 1
