Cancel Rhapsody subscription

Hi, I bought an Esteem through a store, and was told about a month free trial. I signed up for it yesterday using my Gmail account, and today used my PC browser to log in to Rhapsody, and cancel my subscription.

Now, I could get in my account, and I did have a "Cancel subscription" option on Rhapsody's main website, but as soon as I pressed it a message told me to go to my account on Metro and look for more info or to call them, which I did, and couldn't find info about it.

This seemed suspicious, because after clicking on "cancel subscription", I'm still able to log in to Rhapsody through my phone.

So my only worry is not being able to cancel my subscription "properly", and that a month later a magical charge for Rhapsody appears on my bill (similar stuff happened to me a long time ago).

So, does anyone know if canceling subscription through Rhapsody's main website is enough?

Edit: I'm on the 50$ plan + 10$ for international calling feature.

My Metro website says the following about my 50$ plan:

"Includes local/LD, caller ID/waiting/3-way, text/picture messaging, international SMS, 411, VM, Web, email, & 4G PLUS unlimited access to Rhapsody!"

Can't find a cancelation option to Rhapsody, but it says "unlimited access to Rhapsody" with no mention of the TRIAL I was told about?

After a lot of hustle through the phone, and no help, it seems I had success with the help of a Live chat representative:

The only reason it may seem to work is because after she canceled it, I was unable to log in to Rhapsody, and my phone asked me to upgrade my phone plan. Which is good obviously.

unrelated.... but I am sooooo surprised it was not 'Jessica' that was helping you lol.... but hope ya got it cancelled :)

hey daydreamingby,

I am a metro pcs Employee that 90 day trail for rhapsody is for your phone only and you wasnt going to get any extra charge. At the end of the trial you was going to get a text message asking if you would like to keep the rhapsody or not and if you ignored it it will just take it off. if you say yes then you will get a extra charge in your plan.

 Just to clarify, if I was on the $60 Plan after the trial period if I accepted the Rhapsody plan my phone bill would go up to $70/ Monthly? I'm asking because they are saying the wifi hotspot feature will be $10 - $30 extra a month when it is offered. Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't. The $60 unlimited plan includes free Rhapsody.

Thank you, but this is exactly what I was told before on another Metro Service, and to my surprise, I ended up paying for something I didn't want in the past, and it seemed really suspicious as it is with Rhapsody :)

So, maybe you tell the truth, and thank you, but I rather just be sure I won't get tricked, than hope for the best :). The phone representatives wouldn't want to cancel it for me and kept insisting to go on with the trial, so it was suspicious that chat representative was able to do it, and the phone representative did not.
