Help cancelling a download

I keep getting a message saying downloading wildtangentgamesapp11 but I haven't requested it, but as I have it set so it doesn't download from unknown sources it keeps trying how do I cancel it as it keeps doing it?

Did you try to reboot your phone and then see whether this message is gone? It seems to me that it is a zombie process which didn't shutdown properly.

But if you didn't even know about this app, it's more like a virus. You may send it to Sony customer service to take a look.

There is no need to send it to Sony.
All they will do is Factory Reset it, which, IMO is a bit over the top.
did OP ever resolve the issue?
