Help Cannot access Internet, even when connected to WiFi

My cellphone is a LG-P500H with Android 2.2.1.

Well, I had no problems with the Internet on my cellphone for the past... 8 or 9 months. But now, it looks like the cellphone has some problems right now.

Here's the problem: I am connected to my Wi-Fi network, entered the password and everything. It says in the menu that I am actually connected, but when I try to connect to Facebook or any apps that uses Internet (like the market), it says that I'm not connected.

I checked in about every possible options and I noticed that in the Settings - ''About Phone'' - ''Status'' - ''Mobile Network State'', it says that I am Disconnected even though I'm connected in the ''Wireless and Network'' menu. I dont think the this paragraph matters since I asked a friend that uses Android and he gets a ''Disconected'' status too.

I tried the trick of activating the flight mode, removing the battery for some time. I even tried making a factory reset... Nothing seems to work.

Note that this isn't my router's problem as I tried connecting from my college's Wi-Fi, a public Wi-Fi and my home's Wi-fi, all gives me the ''Connected'' status in the wireless menu, but none permits me to connect to any apps that uses Internet.

I was wondering what kind of bug it could be and if there was a way to fix this myself (app, activating/disabling an option, etc...). Or will I need to get this repaired by someone ?

I got this with one particular connection, but not all. Do you use a static IP? May be worth doing that and typing all the right information in the settings. In my case it was the library wifi that wasn't working properly, so I couldn't find out their info, but using a public DNS worked well.
I'm no expert, but its something you could try.

Damn. And I take it you have already tried unticking static IP? Thats the only way it works at my mums house, its annoying how different things are needed for each connection.

Its strange how its suddenly happened when it was working before. I would probably take it back to the shop and see what they say since a factory reset didn't work. A pain I know.
