Cannot add a contact

One of my co-workers also has a droid and I cannot add a contact on that phone? Its very strange, you add a contact like normal and then it says "contact saved". When you search for the contact its not there?? Anyone else have this issue?

When I see something odd with the droid that I can't explain I simply reboot it.

Usually that straightens things out and if not I discover what exactly I was doing wrong

if rebooting doesn't work, maybe their contacts are filtered?

in the contact list soft-key menu, and go to display options. are all her accounts turned on? perhaps "only display contacts with phones" is checked, and you didn't add a phone number?
