Help Cannot add gmail account and more!?

I just got the optimus s last night and it had issues from the start with hooking up my gmail with the phone. I even tried to create a new gmail in case that'd work, but I just get a message stating that it can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. Should I just go swap it with a different optimus s?? (and I also get the google.services.framework.gapps error message when it's trying to synch)

Sounds like your sprint account isn't provisioned for data yet. If you have wifi you could connect using wifi just to setup your google account... or just head to a sprint store and have them get it working for you.

That was one of the error messages, I'll have to head to town tomorrow to check it out thank you! I did try using wi-fi but that didn't work either.
