Help Cannot browse on 3G

Hi guys,
Have been using the Note for nearly 4 months now and it's cool except for one problem. I cannot browse the internet on 3G. I have other applications that work on either Wifi or 3G. I can check my mail on wifi or 3g. I can browse the internet just fine when using wifi but once I get onto 3G then it does not load. I can see that activity is going on while it is trying to load (the arrows keep lighting up). I thought it might be the stock browser so downloaded Dolphin which is cool but that doesn't work on 3G either.
Any help would be much appreciated guys. Thanks
 
Ok I'm an idiot. I figured it out. Had to change a few more settings in the APN Settings and now it's working. Sorry for wasting your time. If anybody else is having the same problem I can help you out.
 
It might be worth saying what you did so anyone searching for help with a similar problem finds the solution at the same time. :)
 
i have a similar problem, with wifi i can browse the net, but not on 3g/2g. i can open google play, or samsung downloads, but cannot browse the net on 3g/2g network. help!!!!is it anything to do with autoproxy app which i had installed. earlier this problem was not there.

I've had APN's from "phone" to "pta" to "wap.cingular" to entering a username and password, to not entering a username and password to selecting internet +mms to only internet and having a separate apn for mms and nothing ever seems to be consistent.

My data will be working fine, then days later, i'll come off wi-fi and have no data and have to reset APN's and do it all over again. Not sure why the "wap" is only working for me now... pta used to work, then phone used to work, no neither works.
 
Go to Settings then choose Wireless and Network then Mobile Network Settings and check the box that says Use Packet Data.

It's something to do with the radios that gets locked up switching from Wifi after an extended period it has nothing to do with APN. Just disable packet data and enable it again or reboot the phone and everything works fine.
 
I just realised that if you have wifi enabled, even when u leave your own home the note will keep trying to connect to wifi signals it finds, eg other people's houses etc, so rendering your 3G connection inactive. It was drying me crazy trying to work out why google maps wasn't connecting to 3G when on the move. Disable wifi and all is well.
