I just got a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I am connected to my network via wifi, but when I try to use the Tab's browser, it keeps saying "web page not available", even though I'm connected. Can someone help?

This happens to me from time to time and when it does, it's because it appears I'm connected (Notification & Settings), but I'm actually not. Toggling WiFi often fixes it. Once it didn't, but cycling power did.

Hi,

I have noticed that this issue is arising if you enable both Wi-FI and GPS.
Disable GPS and try to launch the browser. It should work.

Opera browser is much better that the default browser.

I have this same problem (Bell Canada version of the Tab).

I don't agree that "it's because it appears I'm connected". Other apps still work even though web page won't load.

Toggling the Wi-Fi does help though. Or simply turning off the Wi-Fi and going with cell data.

On the whole it is quite an annoying bug - it happens to me quite often. I guess I will look at the other browsers.
