Help Cannot change wallpaper

amm244

Lurker
On my note 2, when I tried to change the wallpaper with the pictures that I took/downloaded, it always took me to the screen to crop the picture and the wallpaper didn't change. It didn't happen before and I think I might have uninstalled some app or changed the default app. Also, I dont have that problem with the built-in wallpapers. Just wandering if anyone else have encountered the same issue and how I can solve it. Thanks

In the upper right did you touch the check mark after you cropped the images. I know it's a simple thing and I almost bypassed myself, being new to jelly bean.

Yeah I did and it saved the cropped picture, but the wallpaper didnt change. And when I chose the cropped image, it asks me to crop it again. I don't have the problem with the built-in wallpapers though, just the ones I took/downloaded. I used to be able to do it, but I'm not sure what I've done wrong.

I'm sorry I'm out of options for you. I was able to set a pic I'd taken to wallpaper. Maybe try a different launcher see if that helps. I'm using nova
