Help Cannot connect to camera

Getting tired of this.

It's starting to happen more and more frequently. No barcode scanner software, nothing else that I can think of that would be messing with the camera. Anyone else having a problem with this?
 
any app can cause issues with any other app. you don't have to hard reset at this point, just get rid of your apps.

even the ones that are supposedly "optimized for ICS" cause bugs.
 
I removed all the 3rd party apps that used the camera. It's tough to troubleshoot because it happens randomly.
 
Used to have the same problem but it's gone away. Don't remember changing anything or uninstalling, just power cycles.
 
I enjoy having a flashlight app, but I have not found one that does not conflict with the camera app. So, if you have any flashlight apps that utilize the led flash, I would start by un-installing those. Doing that solved my camera access issues.

Hadn't thought about the flashlight apps... I have a couple of those installed. I'll give it a try. Thanks.
 
Got it! Had same exact error. Uninstalled flashlight app by Intellectual Flame Co., Ltd. and the problem went away immediately. This is the only thing I did so it must be it.
