Help cannot connect to computer

hi i try and connect my gs3 to my computer but i get message saying missing hardware id why am i suddenly getting this message . thanx

Did it work before? Do you have Samsung Kies installed?

no dont have kies installed and it worked before , now it comes u windows missing hardware id , and cannot instal device driver. thanx

none of above have helped have emailed samsung so hopefully get it sorted cheers
