Help cannot connect to WiFi 802.1x EAP

I cannot seem to connect to wifi 802.1x Enterprise using my rooted Nook Color or by using my Droid X (2.3.3). Is there a problem with the android OS? I can connect with iPhone and laptop with no problems...

I can connect to my enterprise 802.1x network using both my Samsung Captivate and my Nook Color. The Nook easily connects when running CM7 and the unrooted factory software (version 1.3). I don't think it's the OS. I don't work in the IT office, but I know the people who do, and they had to do some things to get the wifi to work with Android. Sorry I don't know the details.

Wireless at work? What a novel idea. :D

We're in the banking services/credit card industry so no such luck with that (not secure enough). Although we finally got an Internet-only network for guests (no access to any servers) so in theory, we could throw a wireless router on that, but no real need for wireless.

Hi,

How did you get the certificate on you iphone? I'm currently trying to do the same thing you want to do. It presently works fine for windows devices, but I sure would like to get Android and Apple devices to authenticate as well.
