Help Cannot delete certain contacts

I recently sync'ed my phone to my computer, and I have gained some unwanted contacts somehow. The phone does not give me a delete option for them. I don't know how they got there, since I wiped out all the software for my Blackberry, but they are contacts which were in my Berry.
Has anyone run into this, and know how to delete the contacts?

long press on their name, menu and delete, or go to people, view and unclick what you don't want to see. whatever email you send out with berry may show you in your contacts.

When I did mine (gmail) my contacts were linked.

That gives the option only to the contacts I manually added. The ones that somehow got in my people don't show up in the list to delete.
I have a hell of a learning curve ahead of me, I see.

Are they Facebook contacts? Or perhaps GMail recipients (Usually desktop GMail saves all outgoing contacts unless you tell it not to).

I know you said that they were in your Blackberry, how did you sync them to your phone?
