Root Cannot delete sms from 1969

Glitch in the space time continuum...

Just backed up sms from my old Indulge to my Esteem, but now i cannot delete some of them. Particularly the ones from Dec 31, 1969. Any way to do this without deleting everything?

Its like a default date. Why no clue but if you use root explorer and look around youll see a lot of files with the date of Dec 31 1969

My flux capacitor is broken so.... i can't go back and keep them from being sent.
Anyone know how i can delete these? Everytime i reboot, i get unread text notifications with no way to get rid of them.

Try using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore
Back them all up-delete them all-then restore by a cutoff date. Worth a shot.

haha yeah, took a much needed vaca from the android world and finally got to truley test out the rom, which i have already found things i dont like lol so possible update in near future possibly... lol

i had this issue when i backed up my texts..worth thing to do! but i had to just restart over and pretty much NOT back up the texts to get bypass this..you will loose them though...unless you did a save of your OS then if you revert back to that then they will still be there..

Funny thing is i have PS3 trophies pro app and my friends list wont update im guessing is because it says last updated December 31, 1969
