Help Cannot download or update apps, 4.2.2

I have Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 with 4.2.2. I have been getting notification errors regarding attempted app updates and downloads. "Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-5:AEC-0]" In the past, I have had successful downloads and updates. Is this related to the 4.2.2 OS upgrade?

I don't know how to resolve this problem. Help would be appreciated.

First do you have a internet or data connection? And Google Play has been tossing out update errors lately like that. I just wait a while and try again. Have you been getting that same error since posting this?

I am a new tablet owner and I am getting that same error message. I am connected to the internet fine...I am writing on this forum from it currently. Me and my husband have both looked at it and can't figure it out. Please help me.
