Help Cannot edit or convert HD video

Hey all. Just getting going here...

I took a few movies using the high 1280x720 setting, then uploaded over Bluetooth to my new iMac. I can view them fine, but iMovie will not import them (and it does import mp4), and MPEGStreamclip will not allow me to convert them.(or even view them. audio is there but no video) says error: no movie frame. So GUH?? Would supersuck if this is real. Can anyone else confirm this??

Tell me if you can take a HD movie on your fascinate, then open it to edit with iMovie. Pretty Please?
