Cannot hear caller and replaced speaker

Hi all I wonder if someone could kindly offer some advice to my problem. I have a problem where I cannot hear a caller at all through the earpiece speaker. Now I got told this was Down to a faulty speaker. I replaced that very easily, but it still does not work. Also oddly my loudspeaker actually works now since the replacement. Can anybody else offer advice? I have also factory reset my phone and reinstalled my oxygen rom
