Hi all, I apologize if this question/answer is already out there somewhere. There are a ton of threads that come up with this subject and the few that I've started reading don't address this question specifically.
I just got my first Droid phone (an Incredible 2) from an old LG Chocolate I bought about 6 years ago. It's got a lot of great stuff on it, but there's one big step backwards, and that is that I cannot hear everything that comes out of my phone through my Motorola bluetooth - just phone calls.
I don't so much care about music, but I do need the GPS to come through the bluetooth. I'm getting older and I can't hear the phone well enough on its own.
Because I don't spend money lightly (certainly not on electronics unless I really need the upgrade), please don't advise that I spend a lot more money on electronics to make it work. If I really need to buy one thing that isn't expensive, I might, but if I have to spend a lot more money, I can just return the droid and go back to using my Chocolate. In short, if I'm "upgrading", I want something that does everything my old phone did and more, not less.
I also have a 2001 model car, which probably doesn't have a stereo auxiliary. Considering the door locks are window controls are all manual, probably not. So somehow getting the phone/bluetooth to coordinate with the speakers through the stereo probably isn't an option.
Thanks for any advice you can give me!
