Root Cannot hear keyboard clicks

So when I type, I can't hear the typing sounds. I was on Gingersteem, and it was working fine. Then I flashed the LD ICS ROM with the Red Flag theme (which I also had w/ Gingsteem, but the sound clicks were there), and I can't hear the clicks anymore. This has happened before, but I wasn't able to hear it because I had the Media volume, down. Now the volume is up, and can't hear anything. "Sound on keypress" is checked, under the keyboard settings. Idk why its not working :/

with root explore system/ media /audio and then ui check if u have effect. tick.ogg. if not her it goes just copy and paste c if this works

Thanks for the help. That file is actually there. But when I play it, a little pop up shows up saying "Sorry, the player does not support this type of audio file"but then every other sound clip, works.

u no wat I just check mines and it does say that but I still have thu tick sound on my keyboard thats wired

try a different keyboard I dont use thu original I use aikeyboard its way better just try it c if it works with another keyboard

Whoaa. Talk about killing two Apple's with one Android!! I can now hear the sound, and the keyboard is just PERFECT!! Thank you!!

Ok, So I got tired of that keyboard that I was using, lol. I saw a few ones on "Google Play", that I like, downloaded about four of them, and I still hear nothing. Even with the "sound on keypress" checked :/ I don't like using a keyboard, if I cant listen to the clicking sound. There has to be some type of fix out there.

*Quick update; So as I posted this, I found a good one, with the clicking sounds on it. But the only was I was able to hear it, is because inside the settings, of that specific keyboard, it gave me options on how loud/low did I want the clicks to be.*
