Help cannot receive or see text messages

[nessa.trail]

Starting this morning my droid stopped recieving text messages. i can apparently still send them but it does not show that i am sending them (you cant see what i typed and it shows no message sent). i took the phone into the store and someone was able to get my phone to recieve a text message from one of their lines, but the second i left i noticed i was still unable to recieve texts from my friends nor was i able to see my typed texts that i was sending.
has anyone else run into this problem or know what i can do to fix it?

I have the exact same problem. After almost two years of more or less great performance this happens last night. Went to verizon today and the guy was totally stumped.
