Cannot send/receive Pictures in Texts

Hi,

I am new to my Galaxy Light. I had no problem with phones in the past trying to send pictures off my phone and also receive photos in texts. now i cant do it. i cannot receive photos at all in texts, or send them either. i have to email and that is no fun!

Also, i cannot surf the web at all unless I am connected to a wifi network. I NEED to access my accounts online with my phone, it is a business requirement!

why is this the case? my friend has Sprint 3g iPhone 4s and he has no problem doing any of the above....that used to be the case with me but now this phone I have, which is a T-Mobile phone but my plan is through Wal-Mart Family Mobile.

Check with Walmart fot the proper APN to use (it could be T-Mobile's APN, it dould be something different). Your phone's APN settings are wrong.

I was able to (sort of) fix this by changing the APN to only use IPv4.

Have you tried calling tech support? Dial 611. Explain the problem, and they should be able to walk you through changing the settings.
